The Capitals were the 1st Professional Basketball Franchise based in in the Town of Wake Forest, in August of 2020. General Manager, DeMarcus Oliver, has 21yrs of coaching/leadership experience; from local Parks & Recreation, Middle/High School, AAU, College, & Professionally. Our mission is to demonstrate community service & provide exposure opportunities that positively impact the lives of our players, as well as local youth. We’ve produced talent that have experienced travel to Athens, Greece and Europe. In addition, through our Capitals Basketball Academy program, July 2025, our 16U Boys represented Wake Forest & won the USBA National Championship.

We’re dedicated to promote family entertainment, affordable admissions, and a great atmosphere of Pro level Basketball to Wake Forest, Rolesville, and surrounding areas. Since 2020, we’ve demonstrated community service, youth mentorship, clinics, speaking engagements, & offered internship opportunities. In addition, we’ve formed over 25 partnerships with local businesses & non-profit organizations. Through these collaborative efforts, we’ve encouraged a strong community network system for our partners.
